Before submitting to the contest, please read below:
ELIGIBILITY: Open only to legal US residents of the 50 states and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Immediate family members of David Angelo are not eligible. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Void where prohibited by law. Eligibility is expressly conditioned on the acceptance of these rules at the time of submission. Contestants must not be associated or have financial ties to any known terrorist entity.
CONTEST REQUIREMENTS: To enter the contest, you are required to deliver a joke written by comedian David Angelo, with only minor variation to account for style. The joke must be told in English. All entries must be completed by 11:59:59pm ET on 5/31/10. Each individual entrant is allowed a total of three (3) submissions. Entrants shall be limited to one prize per Entrant, household and/or email address. All submissions will be reviewed for content before being judged. Submissions that do not comply with these rules or that otherwise contain inappropriate content as determined by David Angelo, with sole discretion, will be disqualified and will not be published or considered for prizes.
Notwithstanding the zuma games, download zuma games, games like zuma,download games like zuma online for foregoing or anything else contained herein, by entering this contest and who likes dora games games submitting your video, you irrevocably grant to zuma luxor David Angelo the unconditional and perpetual right to post, display, publish, use, adapt, edit, and/or modify such submission in any way, in any and all media, for any purpose, without limitation, and without consideration to you. Entrants agree to irrevocably assign and transfer to David Angelo and and all rights, title and interest in a submission, including, without limitation, all copyrights and waive all rights whatsoever in the submission. All contest entrants hereby release and indemnify and hold harmless David Angelo and all other entrants from any and all claims that any commercial, advertising, presentation, web content or any other material subsequently produced, presented, and/or prepared by or on behalf of David Angelo infringes on the rights of the entrant's work as contained in any submission.
SELECTION OF awesome turbo subs WINNERS: In June 2010, CodeName: Joke's industry committee will select up to ten (10) finalist entries which will be presented to the public to vote on and to determine the Grand Prize winner. The finalists will be posted on www.codenamejoke.com prior to July 2010. The voting period will be announced with the finalists. At the close of the voting period, the submissions that receives the most votes will be deemed the Grand Prize winner. In the unlikely event of a tie, the winner will be chosen by David Angelo and the industry committee. The Grand Prize winner will receive $500. If, for any reason, the Grand Prize winner cannot be contacted or verified, an alternate will be selected by the industry committee. All finalists, with the exception of the Grand Prize winner, will receive, via post, a signed headshot of David Angelo.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: All entrants must use a valid email address. The Grand Prize winner is responsible for any taxes on his/her/their respective prize and will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the value of their prize. No substitution prize will be offered. Prizes are non-transferable. More than one person can work on one submission, but only one person can be an entrant for any one video. David Angelo is not responsible for any disputes that arise over how any award money is divided up collaborators.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: No liability or responsibility is assumed by David Angelo or any member of the industry committee resulting from any entrants participation in, or attempt to participate in, this contest.
CAUTION: Any attempt to deliberately damage this website or undermine the legitimate operation of the contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should any attempt be made, David Angelo reserves the right to seek Damages or other remedies from any such person(s) responsible for the attempt to the fullest extent permitted by law.
COPYRIGHT: David Angelo retains exclusive ownership and rights to his jokes. Entrants are permitted to use them for the purpose of creating a video for this contest only. At the close of the submission period, Entrants will no longer have any such right.
